Original Paintings

This is the moon the evening before the full moon as the sun is still setting. The moon is rising over the the canyon floor at the White House Ruins, Canyon de Chelly, Arizona.  The painting is entitled "Hanson's Moon" in honor of the young Navajo boy who was my good company that evening.

This painting captures the scene of Chimney Rock in Chinle Wash, Canyon de Chelly, Arizona.  I was overwhelmed with the light falling through the golden leaves of the tall Sycamores.
